A counter, eleven stools, and one cook at a time
Blue Awning is small on purpose. Kate cooks most mornings and knows what half the room orders before they sit down. Nothing is held under a lamp — the potatoes go in the pan when you ask for them, the eggs are cracked to order, and if the kitchen is slammed we will tell you so rather than rush your plate. Come in, take a stool, and let the coffee catch up with you.
