What we do
Facials
01A cut built around how your hair falls and grows, checked with you before the blow-dryer comes out.
Color & highlights
02Full color or dimensional highlights, matched to your skin tone and planned so the regrowth line stays easy to manage.
Balayage
03Hand-painted color for a soft, sun-warmed look that grows out without a hard line at the root.
Blowouts
04A finished, smooth style with body and shine for a night out, an event, or just a better Tuesday.
Keratin & smoothing
05A smoothing treatment that cuts down on frizz and styling time, without erasing your natural texture entirely.
Special-occasion styling
06Upstyles and event hair planned around your outfit, your venue, and how long the day will actually run.
Not sure what to ask for? Call — we’ll talk it through.
Call to bookConsult before scissors
Every appointment opens with a conversation about what you want, before any cutting or color begins.
Built for the regrowth
Cuts and color are planned around how they'll grow out, not just how they look the day you leave.
Your history, remembered
What worked for you last time gets kept on file so your next visit starts from there, not from scratch.

A stylist who writes down what you asked for last time
Ahn Skin Beauty works the way a good salon should: the conversation happens before the scissors or the color bowl comes out, not after. Growing out a bad cut or fixing color that went sideways somewhere else takes months, so every appointment starts with what you actually want your hair to do, not just what looks good under the lights. Whether it's a simple trim or a full color change, the goal is the same, a result you'd ask for again by name.
How a first visit runs
(858) 360-0262Book a consultation
Say what you'd like help with. A first visit usually starts with a look at your skin and a few questions.
Talk through your routine
What you use at home, any medications, and what has irritated your skin before — it all changes what's safe to do.
Agree the plan first
What's being done, and why, is settled before the treatment starts.
Leave with aftercare
Ask what to use and what to avoid for the next few days — sunscreen almost always among them.
Before your first treatment
Four things worth knowing — wherever you book
True of any skin studio, this one included.
Mention retinoids and acne medication
Some treatments don't mix with them. A good provider asks; it's worth volunteering anyway.
Ask about a patch test
New products and peels can react with skin. Testing a small area first is a normal thing to ask for.
Sun changes the plan
A fresh sunburn or a tan can change which treatments are safe. Say so when you book.
Results are usually a series
Most skin goals take more than one visit. Ask what a realistic plan looks like before you start.

good to know
- How do I know what to ask for if I don't know the technical terms?
- You don't need the vocabulary. Tell your stylist what bothers you about your current hair and what your mornings look like, and the consultation turns that into the right cut or color. Naming the technique is our job.
- Will my color match what we talked about?
- Color is mixed to your skin tone and the reference points from your consultation, and we check in with you as it develops rather than guessing and hoping. If something needs adjusting, that conversation happens before you leave the chair.
- How soon can I get an appointment?
- Call or book and we'll walk you through what's open. We'd rather give you an honest answer about scheduling on the phone than a guess on a website.
