Services

What we do

  • Panel upgrades

A tired panel that trips, buzzes, or can't carry a modern home gets replaced with one sized for what you actually run.

  • Rewiring & troubleshooting

Flickering lights, warm switches, or a circuit that won't hold — we trace the fault before we open a single wall.

  • EV charger installation

A dedicated circuit sized to your panel and your vehicle, installed in the garage or driveway where you'll actually use it.

  • Code corrections

Open junction boxes, missing GFCI protection, or work from a previous owner brought up to current code before it's a problem.

  • Lighting, fixtures & ceiling fans

New fixtures, recessed lighting, or a ceiling fan hung and wired on its own switch, done cleanly and to weight.

  • Outlets & switches

New outlets where you need them, GFCI protection where code requires it, and old two-prong outlets brought up to grounded standard.

Electrical job detail

An electrician who explains the panel before opening it

Albers Electric Company works on homes across San Diego, and most calls start the same way: something isn't working right, and nobody's sure why. Before a panel comes off or a wall gets opened, we walk through what's actually happening — what's tripping, what's warm, what's original to the house — and explain what we find in plain terms. Older San Diego neighborhoods carry a mix of panel ages and wiring types, and each one has its own quirks. We work with what's there, correct what code requires, and leave you with a system you understand a little better than before we arrived.

Electrical job detail
  • Diagnose, then quote

You get a price after we've found the actual cause, not a guess before we've looked.

  • Sized to your load

Panel and circuit sizing is based on what your home actually draws, not a standard swap.

  • Show you the fault

Where we find a wiring or code issue, we show it to you before repairing it.

  • How do I know if I need a panel upgrade or just a repair?

It depends on what's tripping and why. A single faulty breaker is a repair; a panel that can't carry your home's load, or one with outdated components, is a different conversation. We test the panel first and tell you honestly which situation you're in.

  • Can my panel handle an EV charger?

Some can as-is, some need a panel upgrade first. We check the panel's available capacity and your existing circuits before recommending a charger installation, so you're not guessing at what the electrical system can actually support.

  • How fast can you get someone out?

Call and describe what's happening — a tripping breaker, warm outlet, or dead circuit gets prioritized differently than a planned upgrade. We schedule based on what the situation actually needs, and we'll tell you straight where you fall on that list.

How a job runs, start to finish

01

Say what's going on

A call or a text — photos help if they're easy to take.

02

Agree on the work first

Scope and price settled before anything starts. If something changes mid-job, it gets agreed the same way.

03

The work gets done

On the day you set, in the way you agreed.

04

Walk it before it's done

Point at anything that isn't right while the tools are still out — that's what the walkthrough is for.

Before you hire anyone

Four flags worth knowing — whoever you call

Ask these of anyone bidding your job — us included. A good answer costs nothing; a bad one saves you the whole mistake.

  • A price before anyone's seen the job

Real quotes come after eyes on the work. A number over the phone is a number that changes.

  • Nothing in writing

Scope, price, and who buys materials — settled before work starts, on paper or in a text thread.

  • Pressure to start today

Good operators are booked. Same-hour availability with a discount attached is its own answer.

  • No paper trail on payment

However you pay, there should be a record of what was agreed and what was done.

Before you decide

Do I actually own the site?

Can I get my money back?

Yes. The $299 launch fee is refundable for 30 days, no questions asked, and the $49 a month can be cancelled at any time.

What's the $49 a month for?

Hosting, security, and unlimited edits to the pages you have: a new phone number, new prices, new photos, new wording. Email us and we make the change, with no hourly billing. New pages, like a page for another town you serve, are optional add-ons, and you see the price before you buy.

How did you get my information?

From public records and your public Google listing. The records are your state contractor license (the CSLB publishes it), your city or county business registry, and Overture Maps, an openly licensed map dataset. Your Google listing gives us things like your hours, photos, rating and reviews; ratings and reviews appear as they do on Google, with attribution, never edited or invented. The words on the site are ours, written from those facts, so tell us anything we got wrong and we fix it. Your email came from a business-data company we pay; we don't run software that scrapes websites for addresses. We've never sold or shared the list, and we're not going to.
