What we do

  • Facials

    01

Scissor and clipper work shaped to how your hair actually grows, checked in the mirror before you're called done.

  • Fades & tapers

    02

Skin, low, mid or high — blended by hand so the line disappears instead of announcing itself.

  • Beard trims

    03

Shaped with shears and clippers, cheek and neck lines cleaned up so the shape holds between visits.

  • Hot towel shaves

    04

A slower chair: steamed towels, lather, and a careful razor pass for the closest shave a face can take.

  • Kids' cuts

    05

Cuts paced for a kid's patience, with the chair set to their speed rather than the clock's.

  • Color & styling

    06

Color and finish work to change up the look or clean up the grey, done as its own appointment.

Not sure what to ask for? Call — we’ll talk it through.

Cut for the regrowth

Every cut is shaped to still look right in a few weeks, not just the moment you stand up.

Checked before you're done

You look in the mirror at each stage of the cut, not only at the very end.

One chair, your barber

Your appointment is worked start to finish by one barber, not handed off partway through.

Skincare tube on a pink shelf, palm shadow

One shop, cuts built for the coast air

Artisan Esthetics sits in Encinitas doing the fundamentals well: haircuts, fades, beard trims, shaves, color and styling, kids' cuts. Every appointment starts with a real conversation about what your hair does on a normal day, not just what looks sharp in the mirror for the ten minutes you're still sitting in the chair. Scissor and clipper work is checked as it goes, necklines are cleaned up with care, and you leave with something that still works on day twelve, not just day one. Come with a photo or come with nothing — either way you get a straight answer about what will actually sit right.

How a first visit runs

(631) 988-4694

Book a consultation

Say what you'd like help with. A first visit usually starts with a look at your skin and a few questions.

Talk through your routine

What you use at home, any medications, and what has irritated your skin before — it all changes what's safe to do.

Agree the plan first

What's being done, and why, is settled before the treatment starts.

Leave with aftercare

Ask what to use and what to avoid for the next few days — sunscreen almost always among them.

Before your first treatment

Four things worth knowing — wherever you book

True of any skin studio, this one included.

Mention retinoids and acne medication

Some treatments don't mix with them. A good provider asks; it's worth volunteering anyway.

Ask about a patch test

New products and peels can react with skin. Testing a small area first is a normal thing to ask for.

Sun changes the plan

A fresh sunburn or a tan can change which treatments are safe. Say so when you book.

Results are usually a series

Most skin goals take more than one visit. Ask what a realistic plan looks like before you start.

good to know

Do I need to book ahead, or can I walk in?
Booking secures you a specific time with your barber. If you'd rather not plan ahead, call and ask what the day looks like — it depends on how the schedule is running that day.
I don't know the name of the cut I want — is that a problem?
No. Tell your barber what bothers you about your current cut and what your hair needs to do on a normal day. Naming the style is the barber's job; describing what you want is yours.
Do you cut kids' hair?
Yes. Kids' cuts are paced to the kid, whether that means moving quickly for an experienced sitter or slowing down for a first haircut.

Artisan Esthetics’ website is built and ready

It's built, and it can go live on your own domain. See something you'd change? A service, a photo, a sentence: tell us and we change it, before launch and after.

Launch this website: $0 today

$0 today · $59/mo from day 30 · cancel online any time · or pay $299 once and $49/mo (refundable for 30 days)

What happens after you launch

  1. TodayYou pay nothing. The site is live within the minute at its own address; the receipt has the link.
  2. Same dayWe connect your domain with you, wherever it lives (GoDaddy, Squarespace, anywhere), or register one in your name for $25/yr.
  3. Any timeEmail a change in plain English, like new prices or new photos, and we make it. No limit on edits, no hourly billing. New pages are optional extras.
  4. 30 daysNot for you? Cancel online before day 30 and you never pay a cent. Keep it, and the $59/mo starts then. We email you before the first charge.

Before you decide

Do I actually own the site?

Yes. You own your site and your domain. Cancel anytime, keep everything. If you ever leave, we hand it all over, free. That's the deal in one sentence, and it's printed at checkout too.

Can I get my money back?

On the $0-today plan there's nothing to get back at first: nothing is charged for 30 days, so cancel before then and you pay nothing. After that you can cancel anytime; a month already billed isn't refunded. If you paid $299 to launch instead, that $299 is refundable for 30 days, no questions asked.

What's the monthly fee for?

It's $59 a month (or $49 if you paid $299 to launch), and it covers hosting, security, and unlimited edits to the pages you have: a new phone number, new prices, new photos, new wording. Email us and we make the change, with no hourly billing. New pages, like a page for another town you serve, are optional add-ons, and you see the price before you buy.

How did you get my information?

From public records and your public Google listing. The records are your state contractor license (the CSLB publishes it), your city or county business registry, and Overture Maps, an openly licensed map dataset. Your Google listing gives us things like your hours, photos, rating and reviews; ratings and reviews appear as they do on Google, with attribution, never edited or invented. The words on the site are ours, written from those facts, so tell us anything we got wrong and we fix it. Your email came from a business-data company we pay; we don't run software that scrapes websites for addresses. We've never sold or shared the list, and we're not going to.
