What we work on
- 01
Paint correction
Swirls, scratches, and oxidation cut down panel by panel until the clear coat reads flat and even under shop light.
- 02
Ceramic coating
A protective layer applied after correction, meant to keep the finish from picking up the next round of swirls and stains.
- 03
Full interior & exterior detail
A complete pass on the whole car, inside and out, for owners who want it looking cared for rather than corrected.
- 04
Stain & etching removal
Oil stains, water spots, and bird-dropping etching lifted out of clear coat that would otherwise need repainting.
- 05
Pre-purchase & new-car prep detail
A detail for a car that just changed hands, correcting road wear before the odometer racks up more of it.

Walk the car first
Michael reviews the panels with you under shop light before any correction work begins.
Correct, then protect
Coating is applied only after the paint underneath has been corrected, never over existing damage.
One detailer, start to finish
The same person who quotes the car is the one who works every panel of it.
One detailer, one car, under bright lights
Blossom Valley Detailing runs out of a clean, bright shop in El Cajon — polished epoxy floors, painted cinderblock walls, the kind of light that shows every swirl mark a wax job was hiding. Michael works the cars himself, panel by panel, walking owners around the vehicle before he touches it so they can see what he's seeing. Word has moved car to car: Aston Martin and Porsche owners referring the next Aston Martin and Porsche owner. The work is the same either way — correct the paint, protect it, and hand back a car that looks like the finish it left the factory with.

“Blossom Valley Detailing is the best in business. My truck went in with scratches on every panel and came looking better than it did when it came off the showroom floor.”

“Fantastic work and professional service at a fair price. The first two pics were from Mike at BVD. The third pic is from over 24 hours later, having driven it all morning and early afternoon.”

“Been meaning to leave this review. My car had some oil stains that really ate away at the paint and was just horrible to look at.”

Questions
How do you decide between a full detail and a paint correction?
It comes down to what's in the clear coat, not just on top of it. Michael looks at the panels under shop light first — surface grime is a detail, swirls and oxidation baked into the coat call for correction — and tells you which one you actually need.
Can I bring in a car I just bought instead of one that's damaged?
Yes. Cars that just changed hands often need a first-pass correction and detail before regular driving starts, and that's a common reason people come in — not just damage repair.
Do you work on exotic or high-end cars?
Referrals among exotic-car owners are how a lot of the shop's work has come in, including Porsches and Astons. The process is the same regardless of make — inspect, quote, correct, protect.
