What we do
Brow shaping
01A cut planned around your part, your cowlicks, and the three weeks after you leave the chair, not just the walk to the mirror.
Color & highlights
02Full color or dimensional highlights, formulated to your skin tone and grown-out root line, not a swatch off a chart.
Balayage
03Hand-painted highlights placed to grow out softly, so the line between visits is a gradient, not a shelf.
Blowouts
04A finish styled to hold, whether you're headed to work or straight out the door to something else.
Keratin & smoothing
05A smoothing treatment for hair that fights humidity or takes too long to style, cutting the frizz without flattening the texture.
Special-occasion styling
06Updos and event styling built to hold through photos, dancing, and the whole night, not just the walk to the car.
Not sure what to ask for? Call — we’ll talk it through.
Call to bookOne consultation, no surprises
Every color or cut starts with a conversation about the result before any product touches your hair.
Formulated to you, not a chart
Color is mixed against your skin tone and existing color each visit, not repeated from a generic recipe.
Checked before you leave
The cut or style is reviewed in the mirror with you before the appointment ends.

One room, kept quiet on purpose
Brows of A Feather is a small studio with white walls, dark metal shelving, and a concrete floor that keeps the light soft and the noise down. It's built for work that takes attention: a color formula mixed to match what you asked for, a cut checked against how your hair actually falls, a blowout that survives the drive home. Clients who've been coming for years say the same thing — they know what they'll get, and they know who's doing it. That's the whole model: one stylist, one chair, no guessing.
“I'm sharing more than I usually share because Isabela is truly the best. I've been doing my brows for over 10 years, and I've gone to all the best brow salons, from New York to LA.”
“Izabela is the best! I don’t trust anyone else in San Diego with my brows. I always love my brow lamination and shaping by her, and her space is super cute and inviting as well.”
“I’ve been seeing Izabela regularly a few years now and I don’t trust anyone else with my eyebrows! I drive 30 minutes each way to see her.”

good to know
- Do I need to know exactly what I want before I book?
- No. Bring a photo if you have one, or just describe what bothers you about your current color or cut. The consultation at the start of the appointment is where the plan actually gets made.
- How do you handle color correction or growing out a previous dye job?
- It starts with looking at what's already on your hair — porosity, previous color, how it's grown out — before any new formula is mixed. That assessment shapes the plan, which may take more than one visit depending on where your hair is starting from.
- Can I book for a wedding or event?
- Yes, special-occasion styling is planned around the event's timeline so the style holds through photos and the night itself. It helps to talk through the schedule and outfit ahead of the appointment.
