Carmen's sits behind an archway you can see the barber pole through from the street — dark stained wood, terracotta tile, a bamboo floor that's seen a lot of foot traffic, and vinyl chairs that have been sat in for years, not months. Regulars come back because the cut doesn't change depending on who's working or how busy the day got.
