What we do
Color consultations
01A sit-down before the bowl comes out, so the shade you leave with is the shade you agreed to, not a surprise under salon lighting.
Cuts & styling
02Shaped to how your hair actually falls, checked from every angle before you leave the chair.
Color & highlights
03Full color, root touch-ups, and highlights mixed to match your skin tone and your last appointment's notes.
Balayage
04Hand-painted lightening for a grow-out that softens instead of leaving a hard line at the roots.
Blowouts
05A finished, smooth style for a night out, an interview, or just a day you want your hair to behave.
Keratin & smoothing treatments
06A smoothing service for hair that's frizzy, hard to manage, or fighting humidity, done in the chair with care for your hair's condition.
Not sure what to ask for? Call — we’ll talk it through.
Call to bookSame stylist, every visit
The person who consults with you is the person who cuts and colors your hair that same appointment.
Formula on file
Your color mix is written down and referenced at the next appointment instead of guessed at fresh.
See it before it's final
You approve swatches or the shape of a cut at key points before we call the service finished.

One colorist, a room built for real conversations
Champaigne Hair Salon is a small room off the usual salon circuit in Chula Vista — painted block walls, a couple of chairs, nothing trying to be more than it is. Clients here tend to stay for years, then keep coming back after they move away, because the person who does the consultation is the person who does the color. That kind of continuity is rare in this trade, and it's the whole reason people drive back for it. Come in with a photo, a vague idea, or just a color you're tired of, and expect a straight answer about what will actually work on your hair.
“For the last couple years I’ve been coming here for hair extensions. Lupe always does an amazing job. They consistently look natural and I always walk out away ecstatic.”
“I've been going to Champagne hair Salon since 2013. Lupe is awesome with her work. Hair coloring, awesome cuts, and color. I've always had great compliments wherever I go. I highly recommend it!”
“Lupita has been my stylist for over 30 years. I have always left her hair salon feeling absolutely fabulous. I highly recommend her.”

good to know
- How do I know what color will actually work on my hair?
- We start with a consultation before anything gets mixed — your current color, your hair's condition, and what you're picturing. Swatches get tested against your actual hair, not just described, so there are no surprises when you sit down.
- Can I get the same stylist every time?
- Clients here tend to build a relationship with one stylist over years, and formulas and preferences are kept on file so each visit builds on the last instead of starting over.
- I've had bad color experiences before — how is this different?
- We build gradually rather than pushing for the biggest change in one sitting, especially on previously colored hair, and we talk through the plan with you before any color touches your head.
