What we do
Color consultations
01Full color and highlight work that starts with a real conversation about tone, upkeep, and where your hair actually is right now.
Cuts & styling
02Shaping built around how your hair actually grows out, from a simple trim to a full change in length or shape.
Balayage
03Hand-painted color for a graduated, sun-touched look that grows out softly instead of leaving a hard line.
Blowouts
04Smooth, styled finish for everyday polish or before a bigger event, tailored to how your hair holds a style.
Keratin & smoothing treatments
05Frizz-reducing treatments for hair that fights humidity or takes too long to style every morning.
Special-occasion styling
06Styling for weddings, photos, and events, planned in advance so the day-of look isn't a first attempt.
Not sure what to ask for? Call — we’ll talk it through.
Call to bookConsultation comes first
Every appointment starts with a conversation about your hair goals before any color or cut begins.
Your history, remembered
Past formulas and preferences are kept on file so repeat visits build on the last one.
One stylist, start to finish
The person who consults with you is the same person who does the work.

One chair, and the person who works it
Color by Blanca Janet is built around a single stylist and the relationships she keeps over years, not visits. Clients come back because the goal gets talked through before any color touches hair, and because Blanca tracks what worked last time so it doesn't have to be re-explained. The room is bright, minimal, and quiet enough to actually have that conversation. Whether it's a full color change or a cut that's grown out awkwardly before, the approach is the same: understand the hair and the person first, then do the work.
“I've been going to Blanca for at least a couple years now and I can't imagine ever going to someone else!”
“I love Blanca. I have been going to see her for over a year now, and she shaped my hair from a pixie cut to the shoulder length cut I have now.”
“I have been going to Blanca for about 4 years now. She is so talented and able to do anything I ask while still keeping my hair healthy.”

good to know
- How do you decide what color or cut will actually work for me?
- It starts with a conversation about your hair's current condition, your goals, and how much maintenance you want going forward. The plan is built from that discussion before anything is mixed or cut, so there's no guessing mid-appointment.
- I've had bad experiences with stylists not listening. How is this different?
- The consultation happens at the start of every visit, not just the first one, and past results are tracked so your preferences carry forward. Clients who've been coming for years say this is exactly why they stay.
- How do I book an appointment?
- Reach out to schedule directly with Blanca. Because it's a single-stylist studio, getting on the books ahead of when you need the appointment helps make sure the timing works for both of you.
