Eden Starr Hair Design is a single-stylist studio, and every appointment starts the same way: a real conversation about what you want your hair to do in the weeks after you leave the chair, not just the day of. The room is quiet and uncluttered — light wood floors, black lacquered furniture, glass and mirror catching the light off the painted walls. Clients come back for color that grows out naturally instead of splitting into a hard line, and for cuts that hold their shape past the first wash. It's the kind of place where the same person remembers what you asked for last time, because she's the one who did it.

- How do I book an appointment?
- Call and describe what you're looking for — a cut, a color refresh, balayage, or something for an event — and Eden will talk through timing and what the appointment involves before you come in.
- What's the difference between balayage and traditional highlights?
- Balayage is hand-painted directly onto the hair for a soft, graduated look that grows out gently. Traditional highlights use foils for a more uniform result. Eden can walk through which suits your hair and the look you want during a consultation.
- Will my color still look good as it grows out?
- That's the goal of the consultation before any formula is mixed — placement and shade are chosen with growout in mind, so the line between new growth and color stays soft instead of sharp.
