Two lift columns, one straight answer
Exclusive Motors runs out of a bright, orderly bay built around a pair of blue twin-post lifts, polished concrete underfoot, painted cinderblock walls around it. It's a father-and-son shop, and long-standing customers will tell you the same thing new ones hear on the first visit: the diagnosis comes before the quote, not after. Cars go up on the lift, the problem gets pointed out and explained, and you decide from there. Questions
My check-engine light is on. Is it serious?
It depends on the code and what's actually happening underneath, which is why we pull the code and confirm it by hand rather than guess from the light alone. Some causes are minor, some aren't — you'll know which before anything is repaired.
Do you work on European cars specifically?
The shop has a track record with European makes and uses OEM parts on them rather than aftermarket substitutes. Whatever the make, the car goes through the same process: diagnose first, show you what's worn, then quote the repair.
How do you decide what's urgent versus what can wait?
Anything affecting braking, steering, or a warning light tied to engine damage gets flagged as urgent on the spot. Everything else is explained honestly so you can plan for it — the goal is an accurate picture, not a rushed decision.
