What we do

  • Haircuts

    01

Scissor and clipper work built to a length you can keep up yourself, checked in the mirror before you're done.

  • Fades & tapers

    02

Skin, low, mid or high, blended by hand so the fade disappears instead of showing a hard line.

  • Beard trims

    03

Shaped with shears and clippers, with clean cheek and neck lines so it looks intentional, not just trimmed.

  • Hot towel shaves

    04

A steamed towel, warm lather and a careful razor pass for a close, comfortable shave.

  • Kids' cuts

    05

Patient, unhurried cuts for younger clients, with the barber keeping pace to match the kid in the chair.

  • Color & styling

    06

Color and styling work to finish off a cut or change things up, handled with the same attention as the haircut itself.

Not sure what to ask for? Call — we’ll talk it through.

Checked before you leave

You look in the mirror at each stage of the cut, not just at the very end.

Cut for the regrowth

Every haircut is shaped to still work three weeks out, not just fresh out of the chair.

Told what you're getting

We talk through the plan before cutting, so there's no guessing at what comes next.

A chair that asks what your hair actually does

Haircut Place is a San Diego barbershop built around the ordinary week, not the ten minutes you spend looking in the mirror before you stand up. Every visit starts with a short conversation about how you wear your hair on a work morning, then the clippers or shears go to work matching the cut to that answer. Fades are blended by hand, necklines are cleaned up with attention, and beards get shaped rather than just shortened. The goal is simple: a cut you stop thinking about until it's time to come back.

How a first visit runs

Book it your way

Call or message — say whether it's a cut, color or both, so the right amount of time gets set aside.

Start with a consultation

A few minutes to talk it through before anything starts. Photos of the look you want help more than words.

Nothing is a surprise

Length, tone and finish are checked with you as it goes, not revealed at the end.

Leave knowing how to keep it

Ask how to style it at home and when to come back. That's part of the visit, not an extra.

Before your first visit

Four things worth knowing — whatever salon you choose

True anywhere, this salon included. A good first visit starts with a conversation.

A consultation costs nothing

Any good stylist starts with questions. If the work starts before the questions do, that's your answer.

Bring the photo

A picture of the look you want beats any description of it. Save two or three — and one you don't want.

Color needs a patch test

Skin reacts. A test a day or two ahead is the standard for new color, not the exception.

Book the person, not just the salon

Consistency is the whole game. When you find a stylist whose work you like, ask for them by name next time.

Curling iron through long copper hair

good to know

Do I need to book ahead, or can I walk in?
Booking is the surest way to get a chair without waiting. If you're stopping by without an appointment, call first and we can tell you honestly how the day is shaping up.
I don't know the name of the cut I want — is that okay?
That's normal. Sit down, describe what bothers you about your current cut and what your mornings look like, and we'll work out the right length and style from there.
Do you cut kids' hair?
Yes. We go at their pace, keep things calm, and let them watch in the mirror if they're curious. Most kids settle in quickly once they see there's nothing to worry about.

Haircut Place’s website is built and ready

It's built, and it can go live on your own domain. See something you'd change? A service, a photo, a sentence: tell us and we change it, before launch and after.

Launch this website: $299

$299 once · $49/mo from day 30 · cancel online any time · 30-day refund on the $299

What happens after you launch

  1. TodayYou pay $299. The site is live within the minute at its own address; the receipt has the link.
  2. Same dayWe connect your domain with you, wherever it lives (GoDaddy, Squarespace, anywhere), or register one in your name for $25/yr.
  3. Any timeEmail a change in plain English, like new prices or new photos, and we make it. No limit on edits, no hourly billing. New pages are optional extras.
  4. 30 daysNot for you? Email us and the $299 comes back, no questions. The $49/mo starts only after that.

Before you decide

Do I actually own the site?

Yes. You own your site and your domain. Cancel anytime, keep everything. If you ever leave, we hand it all over, free. That's the deal in one sentence, and it's printed at checkout too.

Can I get my money back?

Yes. The $299 launch fee is refundable for 30 days, no questions asked, and the $49 a month can be cancelled at any time.

What's the $49 a month for?

Hosting, security, and unlimited edits to the pages you have: a new phone number, new prices, new photos, new wording. Email us and we make the change, with no hourly billing. New pages, like a page for another town you serve, are optional add-ons, and you see the price before you buy.

How did you get my information?

From public records and your public Google listing. The records are your state contractor license (the CSLB publishes it), your city or county business registry, and Overture Maps, an openly licensed map dataset. Your Google listing gives us things like your hours, photos, rating and reviews; ratings and reviews appear as they do on Google, with attribution, never edited or invented. The words on the site are ours, written from those facts, so tell us anything we got wrong and we fix it. Your email came from a business-data company we pay; we don't run software that scrapes websites for addresses. We've never sold or shared the list, and we're not going to.
