Hx Auto Service runs out of a plain, working garage — roll-up doors, painted concrete, no showroom gloss. That's on purpose. Will you tell me what's actually wrong, or just sell me a repair?
The car gets checked before anything is quoted. We identify the specific failed part, show it to you when we can, and explain what it does — then you decide what to do about it.
Do you do smog checks?
Yes. If a car doesn't pass, we go through what failed and why in plain terms, so you know exactly what's being addressed rather than getting a single bundled number.
My check-engine light is on but the car still drives fine — is it urgent?
Depends what the code points to. Some lights mean address it now, others can wait a bit. We check it, tell you which kind it is, and let you make the call on timing.
