A cluttered garage that still gets it right
Lo Cost Automotive & Muffler runs out of a Chula Vista shop that looks the way a working garage should: painted concrete floor, cars up on the lift, chrome trim waiting for a bay. It is not a showroom, and it is not trying to be one. Customers who have been coming since it opened say the same thing over and over — reasonable prices, straight answers, no runaround. Yes. During diagnosis we separate what's failing now from what's simply worn and can wait, so you can decide what to fix today and what to plan for later.
How do you handle repairs I didn't ask about?
We tell you what we found and let you decide. Nothing extra gets repaired without you knowing what it is and why it came up during the visit.
Can you figure out what a warning light means?
We scan the codes and check them against what the car is actually doing before saying what's wrong. A code points to an area, not always the exact part, so we confirm before quoting.
