Services
What we work on
- 01
Diagnostics
Engine and electrical trouble read with a scan tool and a trained eye before we recommend a single repair.
- 02
Engine repair
From overheating to a full rebuild, with a machine shop on site for resurfacing heads and machining parts that aren't on a shelf anywhere.
- 03
Batteries & electrical
Wiring, charging systems, starters, and batteries — the kind of intermittent electrical fault most shops wave you toward the dealer for.
- 04
Brakes
Pads, rotors, and hardware inspected and replaced, with the worn parts pulled out so you can see the wear yourself.
- 05
AC service
Diagnosing why the air stopped working and repairing the leak or component instead of just recharging it and hoping.
- 06
Smog & inspection
Smog checks and inspections handled on site, with any repairs needed to pass done by the same shop that tested it.
Our
standards
- 01Engine and electrical repair under one roof
- 02In-house machine shop for engine parts
- 03Custom and resurfaced parts machined on site
- 04Diagnosis happens before repair is quoted
See the worn part
We show you the failed component before it gets replaced, not just describe it.
Diagnose first
The diagnostic happens before any repair is recommended or quoted.
Machine shop backup
Parts that need resurfacing or custom machining stay on site instead of going out to another vendor.
A repair yard with a machine shop bolted onto the side
Mc Auto Electric works out of a functional garage yard — corrugated metal, painted cinderblock, a lot of cars waiting their turn. The shop handles engine and electrical repair start to finish, and because there's a machinist on site, jobs that need a resurfaced head or a part nobody stocks anymore don't have to leave the property or wait on an outside shop. Customers have described the pricing as decent and the work as thorough, including a full engine replacement handled the day the overheating started. We'd rather show you the worn part than talk you into a guess.

“Efrain takes pride in all the work in your car. Decent pricing. There is also a machinist shop on site. Resurfacing your cars heads no problem custom made parts outstanding.”

Questions
My car started overheating — is it okay to keep driving it?
An overheating engine is one of the few things worth stopping for. Bring it in and we'll diagnose the cause before you put more miles on it — continuing to drive an overheating engine is often what turns a repair into a replacement.
Do you do smog checks?
Yes. Smog and inspection are handled on site, and if a car doesn't pass, the same shop that tested it does the repair — you're not sent elsewhere and back again to retest.
What if the part my car needs isn't available anymore?
There's a machinist on site, so heads can be resurfaced and parts machined to spec when the original isn't stocked anywhere. That's handled without leaving the property.
