What we work on

  • 01

    Diagnostics

Check-engine light, strange noise, or a car that just feels off — we find the actual cause and show it to you before any repair.

  • 02

    Brakes

Pads, rotors, and the noise that means it's time — inspected and replaced with the worn parts set aside for you to see.

  • 03

    Oil & fluids

Oil, coolant, transmission and brake fluid checked and changed on schedule, so the small stuff doesn't become the expensive stuff.

  • 04

    Engine repair

From a loose undertray to a real internal issue, we get the car on the lift and secure or repair what's actually failing.

  • 05

    AC service

No cold air, weak airflow, or a compressor that's making noise — checked and serviced so summer drives don't get miserable.

  • 06

    Batteries & electrical

Dead battery, dim headlight, or an electrical gremlin — tested and swapped on the spot when a part's the problem.

See it before you pay

We show you the failed or worn part before we recommend replacing it.

Diagnose, then quote

You get a repair recommendation only after we've found the actual cause, not before.

On the lift, not on hold

A car that comes in with an active problem gets put on the lift and looked at directly.

01The shop

A concrete-floor garage that doesn't guess

Nick's Auto Service and Repair runs out of a working shop in Santee — concrete floor, steel machinery, the kind of place that looks like the cars actually get fixed there because they do. When something's wrong with your car, we put it on the lift, find the part that's actually failing, and walk you over to look at it before we recommend anything. Drivers have pulled in here mid-road-trip with a dead battery or a dragging undertray and left able to keep going. That's the same job whether you're passing through or you live down the street: figure out what broke, fix that, and tell you plainly what can wait.

Questions

How do you figure out what's actually wrong before charging me for repairs?

We start with diagnostics — a scan tool for electrical and check-engine issues, a lift and a look for anything mechanical. Once we find the real cause, we show you the part and explain what's failing before recommending any repair.

My car broke down and I'm not from around here — can you still help?

Yes. We've handled cars that rolled in mid-road-trip with a dead battery or a loose undertray. We get it on the lift, figure out what's wrong, and go from there the same way we would for a regular customer.

How do I know if something can wait or needs fixing now?

We measure and inspect the part in question — brake pad thickness, fluid condition, how a component is actually wearing — and tell you plainly which category it falls into. You decide what to do with that information.

You just saw the whole thing

Nick's Auto Service and Repair’s website is built and ready

It's built, and it can go live on your own domain. See something you'd change? A service, a photo, a sentence: tell us and we change it, before launch and after.

Launch this website: $299

$299 once · $49/mo from day 30 · cancel online any time · 30-day refund on the $299

What happens after you launch

  1. TodayYou pay $299. The site is live within the minute at its own address; the receipt has the link.
  2. Same dayWe connect your domain with you, wherever it lives (GoDaddy, Squarespace, anywhere), or register one in your name for $25/yr.
  3. Any timeEmail a change in plain English, like new prices or new photos, and we make it. No limit on edits, no hourly billing. New pages are optional extras.
  4. 30 daysNot for you? Email us and the $299 comes back, no questions. The $49/mo starts only after that.

Before you decide

Do I actually own the site?

Yes. You own your site and your domain. Cancel anytime, keep everything. If you ever leave, we hand it all over, free. That's the deal in one sentence, and it's printed at checkout too.

Can I get my money back?

Yes. The $299 launch fee is refundable for 30 days, no questions asked, and the $49 a month can be cancelled at any time.

What's the $49 a month for?

Hosting, security, and unlimited edits to the pages you have: a new phone number, new prices, new photos, new wording. Email us and we make the change, with no hourly billing. New pages, like a page for another town you serve, are optional add-ons, and you see the price before you buy.

How did you get my information?

From public records and your public Google listing. The records are your state contractor license (the CSLB publishes it), your city or county business registry, and Overture Maps, an openly licensed map dataset. Your Google listing gives us things like your hours, photos, rating and reviews; ratings and reviews appear as they do on Google, with attribution, never edited or invented. The words on the site are ours, written from those facts, so tell us anything we got wrong and we fix it. Your email came from a business-data company we pay; we don't run software that scrapes websites for addresses. We've never sold or shared the list, and we're not going to.
