What we do

  • 01

    System replacement

A full AC or furnace replacement, sized to your house and ductwork rather than to the biggest unit on the truck.

  • 02

    AC repair

Refrigerant checks, compressor and capacitor diagnosis, and airflow troubleshooting for units that are short-cycling or blowing warm.

  • 03

    Heating repair

Furnace and heat pump troubleshooting — pilot lights, cracked wires, control boards, and airflow issues that keep rooms uneven.

  • 04

    Preventive maintenance plans

Seasonal checks on refrigerant charge, electrical connections, and airflow so small issues get caught before a system fails outright.

  • 05

    Ductwork & airflow

Sealing, resizing, and repairing duct runs so conditioned air actually reaches the rooms it's supposed to, instead of leaking into the attic.

  • 06

    Mini-split systems

Ductless heating and cooling for additions, converted garages, and home offices that were never on the main system.

  • Gauges before guesses

We check refrigerant pressure and airflow with instruments before naming a cause.

  • Sized to the house

Replacement equipment is sized to your ductwork and load, not to the largest unit available.

  • One crew, start to finish

The technicians who quote the job are the ones who install it.

We test the system before we talk about replacing it

SDAC works out of Lakeside, in the inland heat where an AC that quits in August is not a minor problem. A visit starts with gauges and airflow checks, not a sales pitch — we want to know what the system is actually doing before anyone says the word 'replace.' Some houses out here were never ducted right to begin with, and stucco walls hide a lot. We go through the attic, the plenum, the sheet metal runs, and tell you plainly what we found. If the fix is small, we say so.

  • Should I repair my AC or replace it?

That depends on what's actually failing and what the system's condition is otherwise. We check the compressor, coil, and refrigerant charge first and tell you honestly whether a repair holds up or whether you'd be pouring money into an aging unit.

  • How soon can someone come look at my system?

Call and we'll go over what's happening and get you on the schedule — no-cool and no-heat calls get worked in ahead of routine maintenance, so tell us what's going on when you call.

  • My addition doesn't have ducts. What are my options?

A mini-split is usually the fix for a room that was never tied into the main system. It runs on its own line set, heats and cools that space independently, and doesn't require opening up the existing ductwork.

How a job runs, start to finish

01

Say what's going on

A call or a text — photos help if they're easy to take.

02

Agree on the work first

Scope and price settled before anything starts. If something changes mid-job, it gets agreed the same way.

03

The work gets done

On the day you set, in the way you agreed.

04

Walk it before it's done

Point at anything that isn't right while the tools are still out — that's what the walkthrough is for.

Before you hire anyone

Four flags worth knowing — whoever you call

Ask these of anyone bidding your job — us included. A good answer costs nothing; a bad one saves you the whole mistake.

  • A price before anyone's seen the job

Real quotes come after eyes on the work. A number over the phone is a number that changes.

  • Nothing in writing

Scope, price, and who buys materials — settled before work starts, on paper or in a text thread.

  • Pressure to start today

Good operators are booked. Same-hour availability with a discount attached is its own answer.

  • No paper trail on payment

However you pay, there should be a record of what was agreed and what was done.

Before you decide

Do I actually own the site?

Yes. You own your site and your domain. Cancel anytime, keep everything. If you ever leave, we hand it all over, free. That's the deal in one sentence, and it's printed at checkout too.

Can I get my money back?

Yes. The $299 launch fee is refundable for 30 days, no questions asked, and the $49 a month can be cancelled at any time.

What's the $49 a month for?

Hosting, security, and unlimited edits to the pages you have: a new phone number, new prices, new photos, new wording. Email us and we make the change, with no hourly billing. New pages, like a page for another town you serve, are optional add-ons, and you see the price before you buy.

How did you get my information?

From public records and your public Google listing. The records are your state contractor license (the CSLB publishes it), your city or county business registry, and Overture Maps, an openly licensed map dataset. Your Google listing gives us things like your hours, photos, rating and reviews; ratings and reviews appear as they do on Google, with attribution, never edited or invented. The words on the site are ours, written from those facts, so tell us anything we got wrong and we fix it. Your email came from a business-data company we pay; we don't run software that scrapes websites for addresses. We've never sold or shared the list, and we're not going to.
