Star Nails Bar sits behind reclaimed wood paneling and a lit sign shaped like its name, on polished stone floors that make the room feel closer to a lounge than a shop. It's family run, and that shows in how the work gets done: shaping and cuticle care taken at an unhurried pace, color chosen before anything touches a nail, and a massage chair under you for the whole pedicure. - Gel and shellac are polish-based finishes applied over your natural nail. Dip powder builds color and some strength on top of the nail, while acrylic builds actual length and shape. Which one fits depends on what you want your nails doing day to day — ask when you sit down.
