Order what the kitchen's grilling and take it with you — same menu, packed up to go.
◆
Catering
Bring the grill and the bar's menu to your gathering, sized to the group you're feeding.
◆
Private Events
The group-friendly space and patio can be set up around your event instead of a walk-in crowd.
◆
Daily Specials
The grill and bar run something different day to day, worth asking about before you order.
◆
Family Meals
Larger portions off the same menu, built for taking a meal home to feed more than one plate.
A sample of what we pour. Call for what's on tap and what's on the board tonight.

A bar and grill built for hanging around
The Waterfront Bar & Grill is a full bar and kitchen with room to actually sit down — a patio for the dog and the sun, screens for the game, and live music some nights in the bar. It runs breakfast through dinner and into brunch, so there's a reason to come back at different hours for different moods. Bring the group for a game, bring the dog for the patio, or just come alone for a drink and something off the grill. Nobody rushes you out.
Full bar: cocktails, beer and wine01
Dog-friendly patio seating02

01
Cooked When Ordered
Plates leave the kitchen after you order them, whether you're seated at the bar, inside, or on the patio.
02
Room for Every Group
Private events and catering are planned around your group's size instead of fit into one standard layout.
03
Open Doors for Dogs
The patio allows dogs, so a night out doesn't mean leaving the leash at home.

“It’s easy to see why this place has stood the test of time. It was loud and lovely the night we stopped in. It’s got that rare, lived-in charm you can’t manufacture.”

“Waterfront Grill is one of my favorite spots for oysters. The oyster selection alone is enough reason to visit. They offer a great variety of fresh seafood but the menu has something for everyone.”

The real thing

Serving Point Loma, North Park, Clairemont, Ocean Beach and beyond
We're a short drive from most of San Diego. Parking, the patio, and what's on tonight are all easier answered on the phone.
Yes, the patio is dog-friendly. Seat yourselves outside and the dog is welcome at the table with you.
Do you do takeout?02
Yes. The full kitchen menu is available to go — order ahead and it's ready to grab without waiting for a table.
Can you handle a private event or catering?03
Yes to both. The group-friendly space and patio can be arranged for an event, and catering pulls from the same kitchen menu, sized to your group. Reach out ahead of time to plan it.
The Waterfront Bar & Grill’s website is built and ready
It's built, and it can go live on your own domain. See something you'd change? A service, a photo, a sentence: tell us and we change it, before launch and after.
Live on your own domain the same day you launch, and nothing to pay today
$59/mo after your first 30 days: hosting, security, and unlimited edits to your pages. Email the change, we make it.
You own everything: the domain, the site, the content. Cancel anytime, keep it all.
Cancel in the first 30 days and you never pay a cent
$0 today · $59/mo from day 30 · cancel online any time · or pay $299 once and $49/mo (refundable for 30 days)
What happens after you launch
TodayYou pay nothing. The site is live within the minute at its own address; the receipt has the link.
Same dayWe connect your domain with you, wherever it lives (GoDaddy, Squarespace, anywhere), or register one in your name for $25/yr.
Any timeEmail a change in plain English, like new prices or new photos, and we make it. No limit on edits, no hourly billing. New pages are optional extras.
30 daysNot for you? Cancel online before day 30 and you never pay a cent. Keep it, and the $59/mo starts then. We email you before the first charge.
Before you decide
Do I actually own the site?+
Yes. You own your site and your domain. Cancel anytime, keep everything. If you ever leave, we hand it all over, free. That's the deal in one sentence, and it's printed at checkout too.
Can I get my money back?+
On the $0-today plan there's nothing to get back at first: nothing is charged for 30 days, so cancel before then and you pay nothing. After that you can cancel anytime; a month already billed isn't refunded. If you paid $299 to launch instead, that $299 is refundable for 30 days, no questions asked.
What's the monthly fee for?+
It's $59 a month (or $49 if you paid $299 to launch), and it covers hosting, security, and unlimited edits to the pages you have: a new phone number, new prices, new photos, new wording. Email us and we make the change, with no hourly billing. New pages, like a page for another town you serve, are optional add-ons, and you see the price before you buy.
How did you get my information?+
From public records and your public Google listing. The records are your state contractor license (the CSLB publishes it), your city or county business registry, and Overture Maps, an openly licensed map dataset. Your Google listing gives us things like your hours, photos, rating and reviews; ratings and reviews appear as they do on Google, with attribution, never edited or invented. The words on the site are ours, written from those facts, so tell us anything we got wrong and we fix it. Your email came from a business-data company we pay; we don't run software that scrapes websites for addresses. We've never sold or shared the list, and we're not going to.
