Packages
What we work on
- 01
Full detail
A full hand wash and interior-exterior detail, panel by panel, with anything unusual on the paint pointed out before it's addressed.
- 02
Ceramic coating
A protective coating applied after the paint is corrected, meant to keep the finish looking like the day it was applied.
- 03
Hard water spot removal
Etching and mineral spotting from sprinklers or rain lifted off the clear coat with the right compound for the paint.
- 04
Mobile detailing
We come to your driveway or garage anywhere across San Diego, so the car doesn't have to leave your street.
- 05
Interior detailing
Seats, carpet, and trim cleaned and conditioned, with leather treated differently than cloth so it doesn't dry out.

Show the spots first
We point out swirl marks and water etching on the paint before any correction begins.
Mobile or in person, your call
We work at your location or ours, and either way you're walked through the car when it's finished.
Match the product to the material
Leather, cloth, and paint each get treated with what's right for that surface, not one universal process.
A detail crew that shows up in your driveway
West Coast Detail is based in North Park and works mobile across San Diego County, from Point Loma to Clairemont. The work is hand detailing, not a drive-through wash: panels checked for swirl marks, hard water etching pointed out before it's corrected, and ceramic coating applied when a customer wants the paint protected long-term. Customers have brought in everything from daily commuters to a new Tesla, and the standard doesn't change with the car. You see what's wrong before it's fixed, and you see the panel after.

Say what you want done
Interior, exterior, paint correction, a coating — and a few photos of the car as it is now.
Get the price after they see it
Condition decides the work. A real price comes after the car has been looked at.
The detail gets done
What was agreed, at the price that was agreed. Anything extra gets asked about first.
Walk around it together
Look it over in good light before you drive away. That's the moment to point at anything.
Before you book a detail
Four things worth knowing — whoever details your car
Ask these of anyone quoting your car — us included.
Know what the package means
A “full detail” means different things in different places. Ask what's included, inside and out.
Polish isn't paint correction
One hides light swirls for a while; the other removes defects. Ask which one you're paying for.
Ask what a coating really does
Ceramic coatings protect paint and make washing easier — they don't make it scratch-proof. Ask what the care routine is.
Ask how long it takes
A thorough detail can take hours. Knowing up front helps you plan the day.

Questions
Do you come to me, or do I bring the car in?
Both are options. We work mobile across San Diego County — driveways and garages included — and we also take cars in directly. Tell us which works and we'll set the appointment around it.
Can you actually get out hard water spots?
Usually, depending on how deep the etching has gone into the clear coat. We check the paint first and tell you honestly what to expect before starting, rather than guessing from a photo.
Is ceramic coating worth it for a daily driver?
It depends on how you use the car and how much upkeep you want to do yourself. We'll look at your paint's current condition and talk through what coating does and doesn't change before you decide.
