Services
What we work on
- 01
Paint & refinishing
Before any repair gets ordered, we pull codes, test the systems involved, and show you exactly what's failing and why.
- 02
Brakes
Pads, rotors, and lines inspected and replaced, with the worn parts kept aside so you can see how much life was left.
- 03
Oil & fluids
Oil, coolant, transmission and brake fluid checked and changed on the schedule your car actually needs, not a generic one.
- 04
AC service
Warm air instead of cold usually means a leak, a bad compressor, or low refrigerant — we find out which before recharging anything.
- 05
Smog & inspection
Testing and repair work aimed at getting the car through inspection, with any failed component explained before it's replaced.
- 06
Batteries & electrical
Slow cranks, dead batteries, and wiring gremlins traced to the actual connection or component causing them.

Diagnosis before repair
We test and confirm the failure before ordering any part, and show you what we found.
You see the worn part
Whatever gets replaced, the old part is set aside for you to look at.
Plain explanation, no jargon
We describe what's wrong in the same terms we'd use with our own car, before you decide anything.
A concrete-floor garage that shows you the part first
Xpert Paint and Body sits in a working stretch of San Diego, the kind of shop with glossy paint jobs drying next to cars still up on the lift. Customers have come here after collisions and after the check-engine light wouldn't quit, and the shop's own reviewers describe the same thing each time: someone walks them through what's actually wrong before touching a wrench. We diagnose first, explain what we find in plain language, and let you decide what happens next.

Questions
How do I know if a repair is urgent or can wait?
We tell you what we found and what it means for driving the car safely — a worn brake pad and a cosmetic rattle get very different answers. You get the facts and decide the timeline; we're not going to invent urgency.
Will you show me what's actually wrong?
Yes. Diagnosis happens before any repair is ordered, and the worn or failed part is kept aside so you can look at it yourself rather than take a description on faith.
Do you handle bodywork after an accident, not just mechanical repair?
Yes — paint and body work, including bumper and panel replacement, is part of what this shop does, alongside the mechanical side. Bring the car in and we'll look at what the damage actually involves.
