The details
- $100 per business, once it has been a paying customer for 30 days after its first monthly payment (the launch charge alone doesn't start the clock). No cap on how many.
- Your links. Your own link (readystorefront.com/r/your-code), or a business's own preview with your code on the end (…/for/their-page?via=your-code). Either one remembers you for 30 days on the phone or computer it's opened on, so ask the owner to open it on the device they'll launch from: that's how we know they came from you. If they launch from somewhere else within 90 days of opening their preview through your link, we ask the owner who sent them before we pay.
- One reward per business. If a business opens more than one partner's link, the link they opened most recently on the device they launch from gets the credit. If they came through a customer's own referral link instead, that customer gets the credit, not a partner.
- Paid by PayPal, Venmo or check, within 14 days of the 30-day mark, or of the owner confirming you sent them when we need to ask. We never ask for your bank account number.
- Taxes. You're paid as an independent referrer, not an employee. We need a W-9 on file before your payouts reach $600 in a calendar year, and we send a 1099 when the IRS requires one.
- What doesn't count: a business that cancels before its 30 days are up, or whose monthly payment has failed and is still unpaid at the 30-day mark; a launch or monthly charge that is refunded or disputed (extras a business adds later, like a domain, don't affect your reward); a business that was already a customer; and your own business or one you own part of.
Partner terms
Short, and they apply to everyone in the program.
- Say you're paid. Whenever you recommend us, tell the person you get a referral fee if they sign up, in words they'll notice (for example: “Heads up, Ready StoreFront pays me $100 if you launch with them.”). The FTC requires it, and it's the honest thing to do.
- No spam. Share your link with people you actually deal with. No bulk or unsolicited email, texts or calls, no bought lists, no posting it where it isn't welcome.
- Don't pose as us. Never say you work for Ready StoreFront or speak for us, never use our name in ads or as your own business name, and don't promise prices, results or features. Point people to the page itself; it says what they get.
- We can void fraud. Fake businesses, self-referrals, made-up sign-ups, or anything that breaks these terms earns nothing. While we look into a problem we may pause your account: your links stop earning and unpaid rewards wait until it's resolved. If we close an account for breaking these terms, its unpaid rewards are void.
- Changes. We may change or end the program. We'll email you first, and anything already earned under the old terms is still paid.
