The terms, in plain English

We build your website before you pay anything. If you like it, launching costs $0 today, then $59 a month for hosting and unlimited edits to your pages, starting 30 days after launch. Or pay $299 once and $49 a month. If you don't like it, it costs you nothing. Cancel online anytime and keep everything. On the pay-once plan there's a 30-day no-questions refund on the $299.

Launching puts your finished website live the same day: your content, your domain connection, hosting, and unlimited edits to your pages. You ask for a change, we make it; there's nothing for you to learn or maintain. You choose one of two plans at checkout:

• Monthly: $0 today, then $59 a month. Nothing is charged when you launch. Your card is saved at checkout, the first 30 days are free, and the $59/month subscription starts on the date shown at checkout. There is no setup fee.
• Pay once: $299 today, then $49 a month. The $299 is a one-time charge for launching. Your first 30 days of hosting are included in it, and the $49/month subscription starts after them. On this plan you can switch to $490/yr (two months free, with your domain free the first year) after launch in your billing portal.
• Optional add-ons are priced individually in your account page, and none are required: a domain ($25/yr, if you need one), extra town pages ($29 each or five for $99), Google listing care ($99/mo), a managed plan ($100/mo), business email setup and a logo & brand kit. New pages are add-ons; edits to the pages you have are included in your monthly plan.

On either plan the monthly subscription starts 30 days after launch, on the date shown at checkout, and renews monthly until you cancel. We email you a reminder before the first monthly charge. Cancelling is online, anytime, in one click: your account page → Manage billing. No calls, no forms, no retention scripts.

Cancel during your first 30 days and you are never charged for the monthly plan. After that, cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you've already paid for: the site stays up until then, and that month is not refunded.

On the pay-once plan: not satisfied in the first 30 days? Email us and the $299 comes back. No questions.

On the $0-today plan there is nothing to refund in the first 30 days, because nothing is charged. Cancel before your first bill and you pay nothing at all. A month that has already been billed is not refunded; cancelling stops the next one.

You own your site and your domain. Cancel anytime, keep everything. If you leave, we hand it all over, free. The domain is registered in your name and everything on the site is yours.

Photos and text you give us for your site must be yours to use. By uploading them you confirm you have the rights. We put them on your website and nowhere else.

Free previews are exactly that: free, no obligation, built from public records and the business's public Google listing, in our own words. Every preview is listed in our public directory at readystorefront.com/find, where a search by business name or city finds it. Previews are marked so search engines leave them out, and if you want one taken down, it comes down the same day: remove a preview. Invented example sites in our gallery are labeled as such on the image. A real business appears as a pilot only with the owner's permission.

Ready StoreFront alerts are an optional text-message program for our customers. If you turn them on from your account page, we text the mobile number you gave us when someone sends a call-back request or a device order through your website: one text per request, so message frequency varies. The texts are about your own website only; we never send marketing texts. Message and data rates may apply. For help, reply HELP or email support@readystorefront.com. Reply STOP to cancel at any time, or turn texts off on your account page. Agreeing to texts is not a condition of any purchase. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. How we handle your number is in our privacy policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute that we cannot settle by talking to each other is heard in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California, and you and we each consent to that venue. Nothing here limits any right you have under California consumer-protection law that cannot be waived.

Before either side files anything, write to hello@readystorefront.com and give us thirty days to make it right. Most problems are a refund or an edit away.
